KETO ROSEMARY CHEDDAR DROP BISCUITS

These Keto Rosemary drop biscuits are life changing. They bring a whole new taste pattern to my side dishes, as well as my breakfast instead of just sausage or bacon and eggs. They are a great snack all on their own, especially with bacon bits or ham or even sausage mixed in, or for that matter all three or even Italian sausage. You choose how you want to embellish these.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of Almond Flour
  • 1 cup of Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese – plus extra for topping
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of minced fresh Rosemary
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large mixing bowl, add everything except the butter and parsley. Mix well to combine. Place bowl in refrigerator for 15 minutes to set. Remove dough from refrigerator after cooling it. On a parchment paper lined baking sheet, scoop out biscuit dough using an ice cream scoop. Sprinkle each biscuit with a bit more shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven, and brush biscuits with melted butter and chopped parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

These biscuits come together very easily, and you will be able to get about 15 biscuits using an ice cream scoop. An ice cream scoop creates just about the perfect size biscuits as far as I am concerned.
My calculations, for these biscuits are approximately 2 carbs each, and about 153 calories. These are perfect as a snack. The texture is light and fluffy.
Keto Rosemary Cheddar Drop Biscuits are a delicious side dish that is full of flavor and low in carbs. These biscuits are addictive and would be great with breakfast, especially with Bacon bits in them.!
It’s up to you what additions to use, feel free to add different ingredients to enhance these biscuits, like bacon bits, thyme, green onion!
