Keto 2.0 Plus Sugar Free Lemon – Lime Soda

What we want here is a basic starter where you can choose your drink additions and create different Keto 2.0 Plus drinks all of which are keto friendly, refreshing and made by you to your standards and ours as well. This will keep you hydrated while getting flavor with your water and the sweetness you crave

Ingredients
  

  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • 1/16 th teaspoon of stevia adjust to taste
  • Sparkling water or carbonated water

Instructions
 

  • Fill a glass with ice, crushed or cubed (I prefer crushed when I am making drinks because crushed ice has more surface area in contact with the liquid and chills better and faster than cubes) then add 1/16th teaspoon of stevia. This natural sweetener is much sweeter than sugar, so a little goes a long way. If you’re new to using stevia, you might want to start with a small amount and adjust it according to your taste preferences.
  • Juice your lemon and lime. You’ll want to make sure you get all the juice out of them, so a citrus juicer or a hand press can be very helpful. Before slicing the lemon or lime, microwave the fruit on high for 20 to 30 seconds or until warm. As the microwave heats the fruit from the inside out, the juice capsules burst within the fruit. Once the fruit has cooled enough to handle (about 30 seconds), slice it open and juice as normal
  • Fill the glass with sparkling water, leaving some room at the top to stir. Gently mix the lemon-lime juice and stevia with the sparkling water. The key here is to integrate the sweetener thoroughly while keeping the fizzy texture of the sparkling water.
  • Taste and Adjust: Taste your homemade soda. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add a bit more stevia. Remember, it’s easier to add more sweetener than to correct an overly sweet drink.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime on the rim of the glass for a decorative touch and a hint of extra flavor.

Notes

As an alternative you can create and use simple syrup to replace the water and sweetener and just add your juice to the simple syrup.
