This is where you come to “exercise” your option. We give you a plan to lose weight, but we are the first ones to mention that exercise will help. If you want to lose weight faster as well as energize your body and mind adding exercise to your routine will help in every respect.
We suggest talking with your physician before exercising, but might we also suggest planning your exercise program before you speak with your physician so they can approve the plan.
Like calories, not all exercise is equal. Cardio helps your heart, but cardio without resistance is pretty much a waste of energy. If you do not do resistance you do not gain muscle and muscle is the magic fiber that makes your body burn more calories.
Cardio will burn some calories while you are doing it. Muscle will even burn calories when you are asleep. Muscle burns way more calories than fat and it continues to burn even after you are relaxing or even sleeping after your workout.
